Spring – Summer marks the first fashion season of the year and fashion connoisseurs all over the world eagerly look forward to it’s arrival for fashion trends they can ride on.
Spring is that time of the year when nature is at it’s prettiest and an inspiration to fashion designers all over the world to translate into wearable pieces that depict sheer beauty.
Summer on the other hand is something which demands more of comfort and casual wear to beat the heat of the season. No doubt it is also the season when you can get out your designer burkinis and frequent your trips to the beach!
Both the season’s are also times for taking time off from your hectic schedules and heading to annual vacations with your family. Which means time for more fun and well, making room for new clothes in your wardrobe.

#1. Shining Armour
No, we’re not asking you to go to battle; but designers have taken inspiration from war times and don armour inspired clothing. It’s chic, eye catching and comes in various hues and textures of mettalic and make you stand out from the crowd.
#2. Pristine white
White is boring no more, as designers are giving a new spin to the color with a variety of styles and cuts, helping to add one more piece of this staple to your wardrobe, not just for casual but also formal wear.
#3. Fringe drama
The fringe instead of being a smaller element in the overall garment, has this year made it’s wave as a mainstream story of the outfit by acquiring larger canvas and unabashedly using it as a central trend for dressing it up.
#4. Ice Blue
Ice blue is one of my favorite colors and we have seen a lot of it this Spring – Summer. Donning this color lends a cool, youthful and trendy feel and is especially suited for formal occassions, in which it is a unique and rare addition.
#5. Ankle strap
In fashion weeks, the runways were full of ankle straps being worn especially in flats and small heels which is usually rare. This style not just adds a special touch to your shoes, but also gives the much needed support you need.
#6. Red Hot
Who said red ever went out of fashion? True or not, red is ruling the ramps in SS 24 shows and is slated to be one of the colors of the year.
#7. Oversized bags
This season saw big bags being highly popular with designers as compared to the otherwise dainty options preferred. All girls who love their totes take them out with elan and be rest assured you are right on trend, while being able to dump in everything you need, with this style.
#8. Bows and Frills
All girls who love bows and frills raise your hands up and say hurrah as these are trending this Spring – Summer. All women who celebrate their feminity and like to have such elements in their attire be free to add some more to your collection in keeping with this trend for the year.
#9. Knee high socks
The age of the demure is here. Knee high socks were seen with sandals and heels such as ballet flats, open and close toed sandals and sleek pumps.
#10. White boots
White boots though difficult to clean are the flavor of the season. With all lengths being popular from ankle to calf to knee high, they have been featured in boxy silhouettes.
#11. Lace and Tulle Fabrics
For all those women who like celebrating their feminity, they get a chance to do so as tulle and lace are the fabrics that were much used in SS 24′ collections. Personifying delicacy, elegance and a timelessness, these fabrics speak the walked straight out of a fairy tale look.
#12. Rose bloom
Taking inspiration from the flower, roses have been showcased in abundance – whether it’s rose prints, appliques or rose structured dresses and outfits.
#13. Knotted Jewelery
Jewelery design goes unconventional with knotted jewels being showcased in place of the traditional jewelery varieties. This season dare to wear something different and enjoy the experience of a different look and feel.
